Telugu Cinema News: The government of Andhra Pradesh has appointed the actor Ali as an advisor of electronic media. His appointment will be for two years, meanwhile the two years of the contract. He was given this position in recognition of his services to the YSRC party previously to the general election.
However, Ali hoped to be rewarded with a Rajya Sabha seat or an MLC seat, or the chairmanship of the Wakf Board, but he got the nominal post instead of that.

Well, there were rumors that Ali was planning to leave the YSRC and will join the Jana Sena party. Following the publication of these reports in the media, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan appointed actor Ali to this position.
